Caleb Strum was selected #7 overall in the 2021 MLR Collegiate Draft with the AGs first round selection. Strum demonstrated exceptional speed at the 2021 Rugby Showcase clocking in a 4.3 40-yard dash time. 

Strum played four seasons of college rugby at the University of Alabama and was a standout player for the LA Sevens Championship Crimson Tide squad. Strum performed well at Club 7s Nationals with Northern Virginia rugby Club and secured himself firmly on the AG coaching staff’s radar ahead of the draft. 

Strum played five matches for the AG Outlaws this fall, looked the part of a first-round pick, and has been hard at work developing his game in an effort to secure playing time in the AG squad in 2022.

Strum will compete with 2020 first-round Conner Mooneyham for a spot on the wing.
