AG Rugby signed Faka’osi “Oti” Pifeleti this pre-season. He joined the team in Chula Vista, CA during pre-season training camp and looks to add experience to a young AG front row. Oti has one appearance for the USA Eagles but at the young age of 25 years old, he could be aiming for another Eagles call up if he performs well for the AGs this season.

San Diego Legion added Faka’osi Pifeleti in May 2018 and he was a key contributor during the 2019 Major League Rugby season, playing in all matches. 

Faka’osi was born in California and is of Tongan heritage. His family moved to England where he attended Oaklands College Hertfordshire. Prior to signing a contract with the Legion, the 22-year-old (23 in October), 6’0″, 265 loosehead prop, was playing with the Saracens Storm with his younger brother Kapeli.
