Although Turnbull was not born in the states, he is USA Qualified and has played twice for the USA Selects. 

  This is not Turnbull’s first rodeo with USA Pro Rugby, he previously played with the Denver Stampede in the PRO League (now defunct), and both the Houston Sabercats and Old Glory DC in the MLR league. He also tasted success by helping the Glendale Raptors win the Pacific Rugby Premiership.

Turnbull played 418 minutes in 12 matches for the AGs in 2021; starting in five of those 12 appearances. Turnbull was a character in the clubhouse all season long, featured in the documentary “Inside The Scrum”.
