5 Reasons You Should Come To The AG Match This Saturday
Whether you’ve been to every match this season or never been to a rugby game before, we want to make your every experience at an AG Rugby match unique, engaging, and fun for all ages.
Here’s a few reasons you should come out to the match this Saturday!
1.) Come Out and Show Appreciation For Our Military
Considering the tribulations our country has gone through in the last year we’ve all had extra time to consider our freedoms and privileges that we may have taken for granted. The fact is, we wouldn’t be able to enjoy a match as grand and fun as this one without the sacrifices our servicemen and women. Come out Saturday Night and join us as we show our appreciation for our Military throughout the pre-match festivities and the rugby match.

Operation Gratitude:
Out in the Grand Plaza you can build and personalize a care package that will reach active service members. We’ll provide all the supplies you’ll need, so just rock up and leave your own personal touch.
Operation Supply Drop:
For just a $5 donation to Operation Supply Drop you can dunk an AG Rugby player in the DUNK TANK in the Grand Plaza before the match! All donations to Operation will be matched by AG Rugby.
OR Bid on the Operation Supply Drop Auction and take home an Xbox X Series, a signed AG jersey, and a virtual match with Will Magie, Dom Akina and the CEO of Operation Supply Drop Glenn Banton.
2.) Tomar & The FCs Performing Pre-Match
This band has SOUL!
Now, if you’ve been out to an AG Rugby match this season you’ll know we have a live local band perform before every match, and there’s been a wide variety of genres and styles on the Love Street stage so far this season.
AG Nation… Tomar & The FCs just might steal the show on Saturday Night! Their soulful sound will have the crowd moving from 6:00 pm CT to 6:40 with kickoff to follow at 7pm.
3.) It’s One Helluva MatchupÂ
Two of the Top Teams In the League Go Head-to-HeadÂ
If you’re an avid AG fan you’ll be saying, BUT what about the Rugby!
This is one of those mid-season matchups that’s going to feel like a playoff game. The AGs are 4-3 and coming off a loss that put an end to their four-game win streak. On the table, Austin is just two points from a playoff spot. While New York is coming off the biggest win of the competition this season with a two-point win over a previously undefeated LA Giltinis team. New York sits just two points from the top of the Eastern Conference table. That means, both teams will come into Bold Stadium desperate for a win on Saturday Night. This could be an MLR championship final preview.
4.) Fun For the Youth – Join the AG Youth League and Get In Free
Don’t call a sitter! Bring your child out to Bold Stadium for some Flag Rugby and get into the AG Rugby match FREE!
No rugby experience required, just register your child below and show up at the main gates at 5:30 and we’ll introduce your child to a game they can play for a lifetime. Five AG Rugby players and two coaches will be running the Youth Flag League, which is split into age-grade groups. We’ll see you out there.
5.) All Tickets Are Only $5
We want to bring out an awesome crowd Saturday Night that will make our Military feel appreciated, so we’re putting on a special promotion $5 tickets to get everyone we can out to Military Night!
